Turn a form submission into useful action
Consider a quotation request from your website: a workflow can check the fields, pass the information to your CRM and prepare a notification for your team. This avoids copying the same data between tools. Start with a short process whose rules and exceptions you understand.
Keep workflows understandable
Plan for an API that stops responding or receives the same request twice. Test with sample data, document each step and decide who should be alerted if it fails. Sizing also depends on concurrent executions, file sizes and how long you keep execution history.
Questions about n8n
Is n8n free on my VPS?
The self-hosted Community edition adds no licence charge for uses permitted by its licence. The VPS remains paid. Commercial features and API services used by your workflows may carry separate costs.
Is the VPS automatically preconfigured?
Available options are specified during checkout. Confirm the compatible operating system, installation method and any administration services with our team. VPS access does not replace application configuration and maintenance.
How should I plan backups?
Automatic server backup is an optional add-on at checkout. Also plan for application-specific data and regularly test restoration.
